COVID-19 UPDATE:
Please note the following changes:
Our main office at Lutherville - GCHS is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Doctors may still be seeing patients at a reduced schedule to decrease patient flow. We are still seeing patients for post op appointments, trauma, fractures, pain, and injections. The Lutherville SurgiCenter is open for surgery again Monday, May 18, 2020. All patients coming to any of our office locations, must wear a mask, face covering, scarf, etc to their appointment. Please do not bring visitors to your appointment unless necessary (1 parent for a child, or 1 visitor per patient needing assistance). Please note unless absolutely necessary, visitors will be requested to wait in the waiting room or in their car. To maintain appropriate social distancing exams should be limited to patient and provider.
Please do not come into the office if you are feeling unwell, especially if you have symptoms including fevers, cough, or shortness of breath, new symptoms including loss of taste or smell or if you are current under quarantine for a positive COVID-19 test. We will happily reschedule your appointments to accommodate any illness you are experiencing. Please check with your doctor's secretary to see if you can be seen via telemedicine. Certain appointments will still require an in person visit.

Welcome to Greater Chesapeake Hand to Shoulder
Maryland's premier provider of upper extremity orthopedic care since 1987
Think about how many times a day you use your hands. Whether grasping, reaching, typing, writing, or manipulating objects, your hands are always being used. Because we use our hands so often, they can be susceptible to injury, overuse, and even normal wear and tear.
When it comes to caring for the complex nature of hand and upper extremity problems, you need hand surgeons in Maryland whose areas of expertise span a wide spectrum of disorders – from the shoulder to the fingertip.
Greater Chesapeake Hand to Shoulder's select team of board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic and plastic surgeons have advanced training and extensive experience in the delicate procedures required to relieve hand pain and to preserve or restore normal function to the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
From advanced skills in arthroscopic procedures to reconstructive talents and precise microsurgical skills to perform free tissue transfer and joint replacement, our doctors solve some of the most difficult shoulder, arm, wrist, elbow, and hand problems across the nation.
As researchers and educators, our orthopedic surgeons are on the cusp of leading-edge techniques and treatments. As caring physicians, our doctors provide compassionate attentive care for each of their patients.
